What is a one-day retreat?
A one-day retreat is a single-day, in-person gathering where you guide your community through practices such as meditation, yoga, breathwork, chanting, embodiment, or other wellbeing experiences. It's a chance to deepen your connection with your audience in person.
Can I promote my one-day retreat on the platform?
Yes. You can list and promote your upcoming one-day, in-person retreats directly through the Retreats tab in your Teacher Dashboard. When you publish your retreat, our community members will see it in multiple places.
Who will see my retreat?
Your listing reaches teachers and their communities through several channels:
- Your followers receive an in-app notification letting them know there's an opportunity to be with you in person.
- Your listeners may see your retreat on the post-meditation screen when they're most open and reflective.
- The broader community can discover your retreat on the Retreats website and in the Retreats section of the Insight Timer app.
What is the pricing requirement?
One-day retreats must be priced at a minimum of USD $100.
How does booking work?
The booking process is simple and transparent:
- Insight Timer collects a 10% non-refundable deposit, which serves as our booking and administrative fee.
- We send you the attendee details immediately after each booking.
- You complete the registration and collect the remaining 90% balance directly from attendees.
How do I upload my one-day retreat?
Go to the Retreats tab in your Teacher Dashboard and follow the steps to create a new listing. Your retreat will appear on the platform once you submit it and it's approved by our team.
